We had to work with an odd tone of olive green tile in this formerly all white-walled bath, so we choose an olive green glaze to swirl on the walls and a Faux planter was handpainted above the window. Not pictured: hand painted sea shells, seahorse, and shells to compliment the sea-inspired theme. "What room can I have you paint next?" -Mrs.Barlow

"River Falls" Blue glaze applied as a basecoat then a paler blue glaze was Ragged On with a cloth in the Thompson Room at Prospect Hill Plantation Inn, Charlottesville, Virginia. A Faux green Marble technique was applied to the shelf above the doorway. This intense color change really brightened up this tiny bathroom.

The Carriage House at Prospect Hill Plantation Inn, in Charlottesville, Virginia, was first stripped of a wall paper border, primed, then a Sponge technique was applied in a rose tone to compliment the fabrics used elsewhere in the cottage. WallDreams then hand painted the Faux skylight over the jacuzzi tub and added clouds and greenery peeking over the edges of the "window".

The Grooms cabin bathroom at Prospect Hill Plantation Inn, Charlottesville, Virginia was enhanced with shades of green,  handpainted florals, blue sky and clouds. Doesn't the woodwork look great with that green?

A green glaze Ragged On the walls in two hues went very well with the fabrics used in the room and the view out the window of the green pastures brought the outdoors indoors.We added blue sky, clouds, and a whimsical bird house to finish the Faux effect above the jacuzzi bath.
