Help, I Need Paint!

Problem: Long, narrow living/dining room with a huge center white brick fireplace. The homeowner was stumped as to what color to use on the cold white walls. WallDreams solution: Double Roller technique, using three colors of glaze, a beige and two hues of green, tied the colors of the Oriental carpet and the furnishings into a warm, comfortable living space. "I was really impressed with WallDreams professionalism, quickness, and creativity. We are sooo happy with this room." -V.Ferrara

Room With A View

"Looking Out the Villa". Trompe L'oeil "window scene" in the living room. An arched window with side columns, lemon trees, a garden pond in foreground, and a view of Sicily in the background combines the homeowners heritage and her own backyard. A Double Roller was used on the walls in beige and greens with the deeper green on the vaulted ceiling to 'bring down' the height.

Classic Lemon Stripes

An example of basic Striping, "fresh lemon" was basecoated then we broke out the plumb line and chalk and painted "sun shimmer" on every other strip. There are oodles of other techniques that could also be incorporated into this technique including sponging, ragging or combing on the alternating stripes. "This was exactly what I wanted." -C.Harris
